  • This company is a software-enabled services provider, synonymous with SAP on Cloud, focused on delivering superior, highly automated Managed Services to Enterprise customers. Our customers span multiple verticals and geographies across the Americas, EMEA and APAC. We partner with AWS, SAP, Microsoft and other global technology leaders.
  • The Associate Basis Consultant will contribute to the success of this company customer engagements.
  • As part of a 24/7 customer operations team, they will take direct customer responsibility to maintain and upgrade our customers cloud-based SAP environments.
  • They will contribute to build and maintain standard operating procedures and knowledge articles as well are expected to contribute to methodology and / or automation deployment.
  • You are a confident, experienced and hands on Basis Consultant who has worked across many different applications, databases and operating systems.
  • You want to continue learning new technologies, approaches and solutions. You pride yourself in your ability to solve difficult problems others cannot.
  • You are able to think outside the box and can conceptualize new designs and ways of working.

Responsibilities Duties:

  • Providing technical support for SAP systems run on either AWS, Azure or GDC
  • Responding to customer tickets in a timely manner, owning basis issues to resolution
  • Proactively identifying the root cause of issues and recommending and implementing solutions
  • Liaising with infrastructure, security and other team members to support a customer's requirements
  • Be part of a 24/7 rotating shift team on a monthly rotating shift
  • Deploying company's tooling to support the automation of basis and infrastructure activities

 

Key Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years SAP basis experience across multiple SAP components
  • Experience with SAP Basis and NetWeaver Administration
  • Hands on experience in supporting customer SAP systems and/or implementing and/or migrating SAP systems preferably to AWS, Azure or GCP
  • Experience in SAP Backup and Recovery, SAP Basis Monitoring, SAP Patch Management, Router Configuration, SAP Kernel Administration and SAP HANA
  • Experience in working in multiple customer environments each directly for the customer or as a 3rd party provider
  • Demonstrated involvement in customer support spanning the Detect to Correct processes spanning from Monitoring, Event Management, Incident Management, Problem Management as well as Service Requests and Change Control
  • Proficient in ITIL processes especially Incident, Service Request and Problem Management
  • Excellent English language written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a global team
  • Experience of either AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Selected applicant will be subject to a background investigation, which will be conducted and the results of which will be used in compliance with applicable law.
