Job Description
- This company is a software-enabled services provider, synonymous with SAP on Cloud, focused on delivering superior, highly automated Managed Services to Enterprise customers. Our customers span multiple verticals and geographies across the Americas, EMEA and APAC. We partner with AWS, SAP, Microsoft and other global technology leaders.
- As part of a 24/7 customer operations team, they will take direct customer responsibility to maintain and upgrade our customers cloud-based SAP environments.
- They will contribute to build and maintain standard operating procedures and knowledge articles as well are expected to contribute to methodology and / or automation deployment.

- You are able to think outside the box and can conceptualize new designs and ways of working.
- Responsible for all DB2 support including process ownership working with global support teams.
- Provide on-call Level 3 support on 24 x 7.
- Follow ITSM change control procedures.
- Review DB2 security to find potential risks.
- Ensure DB2 related admin tasks are in line with SAP requirements
- Manage SAP consultations for problems and questions
Responsibilities Duties:
- This individual will need to work with DB2 across multiple clients to achieve desired business results in SAP environments.
- Responsible for all DB2 support including process ownership working with global support teams.
- Provide on-call Level 3 support on 24 x 7.
- Follow ITSM change control procedures.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree required and/or equivalent work experience.
- 5 years of professional experience in DB2 for administration and application support.
- Extensive experience with the following:
- Administrating and supporting DB2 across SAP applications
- Support multiple DB2 subsystems simultaneously.
- Analyzing new versions of DB2 for functionality that can improve client's systems.
- Proactively provide capacity planning monthly.
- Knowledge of refreshing test data for whole environments
- Supporting DB2 security requests
- Review DB2 security to find potential risks.
- Ensure DB2 related admin tasks are in line with SAP requirements
- Manage SAP consultations for problems and questions
- Reviewing, tuning of internal DB2 buffer pools and SQL code
- DR recovery of application objects
Experiance Qualifications:
- Experience establishing policies and procedures pertaining to database management, DR, security, maintenance and utilization.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Must be able to multi-task and work under short deadlines and in high pressure situations against SLAs
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentations)
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently and interface directly with clients
- Selected applicant will be subject to a background investigation, which will be conducted and the results of which will be used in compliance with applicable law.
