Responsibilities Duties:

The Program Director will work closely with the SVP of Delivery, Delivery organization, and Company’s customers to ensure project and program delivery that exceeds our customer’s expectations, ensures the Company culture encourages excellence and happiness of its employees within the framework of a professional services organization.

Key Skills:

Serve as a coach and advisor to the Company PMO team members ensuring professional growth, execution excellence and efficient operations. Work across the delivery portfolio to ensure Company standards, practices and methodologies are delivered as designed and intended. Participate in Quality Gate reviews, client SteerCos and other project milestone events to ensure our customers remain delighted. Seek improvements in our standards, practices, and methodologies as we face new challenges, serve as the champion of our processes and contribute to our overall improvement. Understand engagement economics to ensure projects stay on time, on budget while meeting and exceeding our customer’s expectations. Co-own our people processes from resourcing to recruiting, working to ensure efficient operational excellence across the organization. Lead strategic initiatives to ensure alignment with Delivery Objectives considering new opportunities and market challenges to our space. Continuous learning and subject matter expertise within cloud product offerings, DevOps, SecOps and FinOps functions. Understand the special nature of SAP and ERP class software investments of our clients to ensure our customers remain confident in our understanding of their investment in context of our projects. Serve as a primary point of escalation to proactively address issues and risks across the project portfolio and coach Project Managers towards greater independence.

Experiance Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree required in either, Computer Science, Business Administration or Management Information Systems. Project Management experience in Waterfall and Agile approaches. 5-10 years’ experience in a Senior Project Manager role or Program Manager Role. Demonstrated experience in SAP projects, with a focus on technical infrastructure across migrations, upgrades, and implementations. Knowledge financial concepts within a Professional Services Organization at the job and organizational levels to ensure proper financial performance of the organization. Proven experience in leading teams of senior resources – coaching, performance improvements, goal setting, etc. Proven experience in managing customer facing relationships with evidence of building trusted relationships. Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal Ability to think and act at a tactical and strategic level – able to anticipate risks and issues to take mitigation actions. Experience and understanding of complex technical infrastructures – cloud architectures preferred – as well as management of both leadership and technical resources to meet collective goals.
