Job Description

  • A Technical Director / Architect with experience in leading and implementing cloud, IaaS, and SaaS architectures for our SAP Migration customers with a focus on Security and Infrastructure best practices.
  • This position requires someone with strong business acumen, along with the technical depth necessary to produce industry-leading architecture designs for our enterprise customers. Leading a team of architects in delivering industry leading solutions.

Responsibilities Duties:

  • Lead and mentor infrastructure consultants and architects.
  • Build and contribute to the development of methodology and automation focused tooling.
  • Creation of well documented and highly re-useable architecture patterns
  • Scope, assess, design and deploy Cloud Infrastructure in support of a SAP solution landscape. 
  • Working directly with clients and project teams to gather information to implement processes and technology that support various technical and business functions
  • Develop and refine infrastructure checklists in existing environments to ensure continued compliance.
  • Identification and creation of technical process improvements that leads to reduced delivery effort or other commercial gains.
  • Assess impact of architectural decisions on support teams and communicate any changes
  • Deep Dive complex issues to support consultant team and drive problem solving solutions.
  • Perform security checks based on security standards and best practices.

Key Skills:

  • Extensive background in developing complex infrastructure layouts including compute, networking, storage and security. 
  • Detailed knowledge of cloud security services and the identification of appropriate use-cases
  • Ability to recognize design and deployment best practices, understand infrastructure tooling including firewalls, anti-virus, centralized OS management and automation components.  
  • Demonstrated ability to produce documentation conveying complex technology solutions or processes in a readable, and excellently presented format.
  • Self-starter, who can work independently as well as lead teams of infrastructure engineers.
  • A focus on the commercial effects of any proposed solutions or changes, including concise communication of impacts to non-techinical team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach and upskill other members of the infrastructure team.
  • The ability to independently run face to face customer design / engagement workshops

Experiance Qualifications:

  • Have a track record of enterprise level customer engagements
  • Ability to identify additional commercial services that could be offered to customers for their specific use-case.
  • Hands on engineering, configuration of cloud infrastructures using various automation tools
  • Detailed knowledge of automated provisioning and DevOps tooling.
  • Demonstrated involvement in projects that span the lifecycle from planning and design, through deployment, configuration, and migration
  • Technical understanding of any one of the major Cloud Providers, AWS IaaS, Azure, Google Cloud, SaaS & PaaS offerings
  • In-depth experience in Any Cloud compute, storage, network, load balancer, and DNS management
  • Experience with SUSE, RHEL and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with Networking principles and implementation.
  • Experience with system and environment hardening.
  • Experience with application and infrastructure management and monitoring tools
  • Ability to work effectively in pressurized situations and can be relied upon to deliver, irrespective of circumstances
  • Currently hold a minimum of the AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Microsoft Certified Solutions Architect – Expert, GCP Professional Cloud Architect
