Associate Basis Consultant
Job Description
- Providing technical support for SAP systems run on either AWS, Azure or GDC
- Responding to customer tickets in a timely manner, owning basis issues to resolution
- Proactively identifying the root cause of issues and recommending and implementing solutions
Responsibilities Duties:
- Liaising with infrastructure, security and other team members to support a customer's requirements
- Be part of a 24/7 rotating shift team on a monthly rotating shift
- Deploying Company tooling to support the automation of basis and infrastructure activities
Key Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years SAP basis experience across multiple SAP components
- Experience with SAP Basis and NetWeaver Administration
- Hands on experience in supporting customer SAP systems and/or implementing and/or migrating SAP systems preferably to AWS, Azure or GCP
- Experience in SAP Backup and Recovery, SAP Basis Monitoring, SAP Patch Management, Router Configuration, SAP Kernel Administration and SAP HANA
- Experience in working in multiple customer environments each directly for the customer or as a 3rd party provider
- Demonstrated involvement in customer support spanning the Detect to Correct processes spanning from Monitoring, Event Management, Incident Management, Problem Management as well as Service Requests and Change Control
Experiance Qualifications:
- Proficient in ITIL processes especially Incident, Service Request and Problem Management
- Excellent English language written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a global team
- Experience of either AWS, Azure, GCP
