Senior Planning Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join our dynamic civil construction team in Ajman, UAE FOR OUR Hospital Project. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in project planning, scheduling, and management to ensure timely and successful completion of construction projects. Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Planning Engineer, preferably within civil construction projects.
- Strong proficiency with planning software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of construction processes, contract administration, and project control methodologies.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach and strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities Duties:
- Develop, implement, and maintain detailed project schedules and plans using industry-standard software.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates and forecasts to senior management and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to assess project timelines and resource requirements.
- Identify potential risks and delays early and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate project status effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support cost control efforts by tracking project milestones and resource allocations.
