LEAD HSE ENGINEER
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead HSE Engineer FOR ADNOC OFFSHORE-to oversee and enhance health, safety, and environmental protocols for offshore projects within the network in Abu Dhabi. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with industry standards while fostering a safe work environment in challenging offshore settings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field; professional HSE certification preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in HSE roles within offshore civil construction or oil and gas sectors, with proven leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of ADNOC OFFSHORE HSE standards, UAE safety regulations, and international offshore safety guidelines.
- Excellent risk assessment and hazard identification skills specifically for offshore environments.
- Proficient in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and implementation of preventive measures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead teams and liaise with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic offshore environment and respond swiftly to emergencies.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and fostering a positive safety culture on site.
Responsibilities Duties:
- Lead the development and implementation of HSE strategies and policies tailored to offshore operations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to integrate HSE requirements into all phases of offshore projects.
- Lead incident investigations, prepare reports, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Deliver HSE training programs and promote a culture of safety awareness among the offshore workforce.
- Stay updated with latest industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to offshore HSE management.
- Prepare and present HSE performance reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure environmental protection measures are effectively implemented and monitored during construction activities.
