Finance Associate
Job Description
Role Purpose: The Finance Associate will support financial planning, analysis, reporting, and daily financial operations. This role involves assisting in budgeting, forecasting, account reconciliation, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations.
Qualifications
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. ACCA or other professional certifications are an advantage.
• 2–4 years of experience in the financial sector, preferably in a similar role.
Skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially advanced Excel.
• Strong budget tracking and financial reporting skills.
• Vendor negotiation and management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within the team.
Responsibilities Duties:
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes to meet departmental goals.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports promptly.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and requirements.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports for review.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely processing.
• Support senior finance team members with ad-hoc financial analysis as needed.
