Job Description

Our International Contracting client has a new requirement for a well experienced Project and Documentation Coordinator to join their team in Abu Dhabi working on new leisure and entertainment projects. Successful candidates will have extensive project coordination experience on large scale projects and be fully proficient in ACONEX. Candidates must have worked for recognised UAE contracting companies in the UAE previously.
Project Coordinator requirements:

Must possess minimum of 4-5 years of extensive practical experience in the field as project and documentation coordinator.
Degree or diploma in related field.
Must have Aconex experience.
Experience in leisure and entertainment projects would be advantageous.
Strong written and verbal English skills for completing reports and attending meetings is required.
Stakeholder engagement and multi disciplinary coordination between consultants, contractors and sub-contractors experience is essential

Responsibilities Duties:

Collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure all project activities are scheduled and executed efficiently.
Monitor project timelines, ensuring that all tasks are completed on schedule.
Facilitate communication between different departments, ensuring alignment on project goals.
Coordinate with suppliers to arrange timely delivery of materials required for each project.
Track orders and manage purchase documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely procurement.
Work closely with the procurement team to identify and resolve any purchasing issues.
Assist in the selection and appointment of subcontractors for various project tasks.
Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure they are aligned with project schedules and requirements.
Monitor subcontractor performance and compliance with project standards.
Manage the allocation and deployment of labor resources across multiple project sites.
Ensure labor teams are appropriately assigned, briefed, and equipped for their tasks.
Oversee the storage and management of materials and equipment, ensuring they are readily available when needed.
Liaise with clients to coordinate the receipt of materials provided by them.
Ensure all client-supplied materials are stored, tracked, and used according to project specifications.
Document and report any discrepancies or issues related to client-supplied materials.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all project-related activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and communication logs.
Prepare and submit regular reports to project managers and senior management.
Ensure all project documentation is organized and accessible for audits and reviews
