PLANT SUPERVISOR
Job Description
To oversee the operation, maintenance, and utilization of all plant machinery and equipment at project sites, ensuring optimal performance, safety compliance, and cost efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in plant and equipment management (preferably in construction/EPC projects)
• Experience working in GCC countries is preferred
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment (cranes, excavators, loaders, etc.)
• Familiarity with maintenance systems and equipment tracking tools
Responsibilities Duties:
• Supervise daily operations of plant and equipment across project sites
• Ensure all machinery is properly maintained, serviced, and in good working condition
• Coordinate equipment allocation based on project requirements and priorities
• Monitor equipment performance, downtime, and utilization rates
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize breakdowns
• Liaise with procurement for equipment hiring, purchasing, and spare parts
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure adherence to HSE regulations
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and repairs
• Manage plant operators, mechanics, and support staff
• Investigate equipment failures and recommend corrective actions
• Optimize operational costs and improve efficiency in plant usage
