Engineer - Procurement
Job Description
1. Graduation from a college and discipline accredited by NBA is required to be eligible for KSE membership.
2. For local release inside Kuwait, a valid KSE membership is required for client approval.
*NBA - National Board of Accreditation in India
*KSE - Kuwait Society of Engineers"
3. 5 to 10 years of experience
Responsibilities Duties:
1. Vendor identification and management for electrical and civil materials
2. Procurement of high-voltage equipment: transformers, switchgears, circuit breakers, conductors, towers, foundations
3. Preparation and evaluation of RFQs, quotations, and bids
4. Contract management and purchase order issuance
5. Material tracking, logistics, and timely delivery coordination
6. Cost control and budget monitoring
7. Knowledge of electrical transmission and substation standards
8. Inventory management and documentation compliance
9. Negotiation skills with suppliers and subcontractors
10. Working knowledge with SAP ERP
