Job Description

We’re hiring a UAE National (Emirati) Network Engineer to support and improve our network infrastructure. This is a hands-on role covering day-to-day network operations, troubleshooting, and project delivery (upgrades, expansions, security hardening), working closely with IT and stakeholders to keep services stable, secure, and scalable.
Desired skills and experience
UAE National (Emirati)
2–6+ years’ experience in a Network Engineer / Network Support / Infrastructure role (flexible depending on strength)
Strong fundamentals: TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, routing, switching, DNS/DHCP, NAT
Hands-on experience with firewalls and VPNs (site-to-site and remote access)
Experience supporting enterprise Wi-Fi (coverage, interference, access point configuration, troubleshooting)
Familiarity with common vendor stacks (any of: Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Aruba, Juniper, HP/Aruba switches, Ubiquiti)
Comfortable with monitoring tools and ticket-based support; strong documentation habits
Clear communicator, calm under pressure, and able to work through issues methodically
Nice to have
Certifications: CCNA, NSE (Fortinet), JNCIA, PCNSE, Aruba, or similar
Exposure to SD-WAN, NAC (e.g., Cisco ISE), Zero Trust concepts, or cloud networking (Azure/AWS)

Responsibilities Duties:

Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi connectivity across offices and sites
Configure and support network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, wireless controllers/APs)
Manage network performance, availability, and incident response (root cause analysis + permanent fixes)
Support network security best practices: segmentation, VPNs, access control, patching coordination, and policy compliance
Implement changes and upgrades: new sites, VLAN changes, routing updates, firewall rule changes, Wi-Fi improvements
Maintain network documentation: diagrams, IP plans, configurations, SOPs, and change logs
Work with vendors/ISPs on circuits, outages, and service improvements; manage escalations when needed
Support DR/BCP readiness from a network perspective (redundancy, failover testing)
Provide on-call / after-hours support as required for critical incidents or planned cutovers (with notice)
