Basis Consultant
Job Description
- Providing technical support for SAP systems run on AWS
- Responding to customer tickets in a timely manner, owning basis issues to resolution
- Proactively identifying the root cause of issues and recommending and implementing solutions
- On projects supporting the build and migration of SAP systems on AWS
Responsibilities Duties:
- Liaising with infrastructure, security and other team members to support a customer’s requirements
- Providing out of hours support cover when scheduled to the support rota
Key Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years SAP basis experience across multiple SAP components
- Experience with SAP Basis and NetWeaver Administration.
- Hands on experience in supporting customer SAP systems and/or implementing and/or migrating SAP systems preferably to AWS
- Experience in SAP Installation, SAP Sizing, SAP Backup and Recovery, SAP Basis Monitoring, SAP Patch Management, Router Configuration, SAP Kernal Administration
Experiance Qualifications:
- Experience in working in multiple customer environments each directly for the customer or as a 3rd party provider
- Excellent English language written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a global team
