Data Analytics Manager
Job Description
The Data Analytics Manager is a regional delivery leader responsible for managing analytics engagements, ensuring high‑quality delivery, and driving financial performance across a defined geography. This role oversees regional P&L for analytics programs, including SAP BW, SAP Datasphere, SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), and cloud data platform initiatives. The Data Analytics Manager ensures predictable execution, strong customer satisfaction, and effective team leadership while partnering closely with sales, solutioning, and senior delivery leadership.
Qualifications:
- 8–12 years of experience in data analytics delivery, including SAP analytics platforms.
- Strong understanding of BW, BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, and BDC.
- Experience delivering cloud data platform solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric).
- Demonstrated success managing delivery teams and regional P&L or project financials.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work in fast‑paced, multi‑client environments with competing priorities.
- Commercial acumen and experience supporting sales cycles or shaping delivery proposals.
- Selected applicant will be subject to a background investigation, which will be conducted and the results of which will be used in compliance with applicable law.
Responsibilities Duties:
Regional P&L Ownership & Commercial Execution
- Manage regional P&L for the analytics delivery portfolio, including revenue, margin, forecasting, and utilization.
- Optimize delivery economics through resource planning, cost control, and proactive risk mitigation.
- Support sales and account teams with scoping, estimating, and shaping analytics proposals and delivery models.
- Identify regional growth opportunities across SAP analytics, Datasphere, BDC, and cloud data platforms.
Delivery Management & Program Leadership
- Lead day to day delivery of analytics programs, ensuring on time, on budget, high quality outcomes.
- Oversee delivery governance, RAID management, reporting, and quality assurance for regional engagements.
- Ensure adherence to delivery frameworks, standards, and best practices.
- Coordinate multi disciplinary, multi shore teams to deliver predictable results.
Technology & Solution Leadership
- Provide hands on guidance across SAP analytics technologies including BW, BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, and BDC.
- Support solution design for cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric).
- Contribute to architectural decisions related to data modeling, extraction (ODP, CDS, SLT, BODS), governance, and performance.
- Promote automation, accelerators, and modern engineering practices within delivery teams.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong relationships with regional IT and business stakeholders.
- Lead project reviews, roadmap discussions, and delivery checkpoints.
- Act as the first escalation point for delivery issues, ensuring timely resolution and transparent communication.
- Drive customer satisfaction, retention, and referenceability across the region.
Team Leadership & Capability Development
- Manage and mentor regional analytics consultants, data engineers, and technical leads.
- Support career development, performance management, and succession planning.
- Contribute to practice development, including accelerators, methodologies, and reusable assets.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration.
