Job Description

Our success is largely dependent on our Programme management team. An ability to strategize and implement project initiatives is required in the role, as is a strong acumen for project coordination and delegation. This role is foundational to optimizing project productivity and nurturing client project success from inception to completion. We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Project Manager who is well-versed in modern project management tools, such as Jira, Confluence, and ClickUp, as well as methods and best practices. The ideal candidate is not only proficient in these tools and methods but also a natural innovator, capable of driving projects forward with creativity and efficiency as well as contributing into the project management standard of the client.

  • Project Planning and Management
    • Development and management of detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget constraints.
    • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Manage all implementation phases, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, training, and go-live
  • Team Leadership and Coordination
    • Lead cross-functional teams comprising of architects, and technical staff.
    • Assign tasks, clarify deliverables, and review the quality of work produced by team members.
    • Foster team development and provide leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Risk Management
    • In conjunction with Programme Directors and key stakeholders, Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to avoid disruptions.
    • In conjunction with Programme Directors and key stakeholders develop contingency plans for potential challenges or roadblock
  • Stakeholder Communication
    • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals and expectations.
    • Provide regular status updates on progress, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders
  • Budgeting and Resource Management
    • Manage expenditure to ensure cost-effective project delivery within budget constraints.
    • Ensure that projects have the necessary resources effectively deliver the agreed outcomes
  • Documentation and Compliance
    • Ensure the maintenance of accurate project documentation throughout the lifecycle.
    • Ensure compliance with our methodologies, and organizational policies.
  • Knowledge and learning
    • Understand the special nature of SAP and ERP class software investments of our clients to ensure our customers remain confident in our understanding of their investment in context of our projects. 

Responsibilities Duties:

We are deep SAP specialists and our customers expect us to be able to have a sensible conversation about SAP. As a Project Manager, you are the key interface between the customer and client.

For that to be a trusted and value-added relationship, you need to be able to have meaningful conversations with SAP functional, technical and management capabilities within the customer and client.

Other Skills and Qualifications Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
  • 5+ years in an advanced management role (preference given to those with program management experience)
  • Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
  • Experience in cloud, private or public. 
  • Experience in modern project management tooling.

  • Outstanding working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes.
