Job Description

We are looking for a bright and self-motivated investment professional with a passion for the luxury fashion and beauty industries to help originate, execute, and manage growth and late-stage equity investments as part of the Chalhoub Group's investment team. With the guidance of the Senior Investment Manager you will work closely with key senior stakeholders across Chalhoub Group to help apply the Group's investment strategy, set and execute screening methodology, help lead investment due diligence, build financial models, and provide guidance, advice, and support to portfolio companies.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Holder of a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, investment, or related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in investment banking, M&A advisory or valuation teams.
  • You come with strong ownership, analytical rigor, and communication skills.
  • You are highly structured and organized with the ability to work in a less structured setup.
  • You have strong stakeholder management skills and are confident working with senior executives.
  • You are proactive, resilient, thick-skinned, able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities Duties:

What you'll be doing

  • Under supervision of the manager, perform valuation, modelling, and analytical workstreams for active investment projects, ensuring precision, consistency, and actionable insights.
  • Present due diligence findings, financial model outputs internally maintaining momentum and alignment throughout the process.
  • Coordinate due diligence across advisors, co-investors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain and continuously update market mapping in the Group's core investment sectors, ensuring comprehensive visibility on target brands, deal activity, and emerging trends. Provide actionable insights / clear next steps on the identified targets, try to proactively convert investment funnel into active deal processes.
  • Support the development, formulation and execution of the Group's investment strategy, contributing to material preparation and presentation for senior leadership and Investment Committee discussions.
  • Take an active role in portfolio monitoring and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure integration of commercial insights, strategic priorities, and governance principles into investment decisions.
  • Build and nurture a strong external network of founders, brand leaders, investors, and advisors within the fragrance, fashion, and beauty ecosystems to enhance deal origination and market visibility.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes, templates, and tools, fostering efficiency and analytical consistency across SGII.
