Job Description

Our technical supervisor is responsible for leading the team of onsite technicians to ensure proactive and reactive maintenance of the Group retail outlets across UAE. The job holder should also hold strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a solid understanding of building maintenance, repair, and fire life safety systems.

  • Experience in managing service providers.
  • Strong Microsoft skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Engineering background (Mechanical or Electrical).

Responsibilities Duties:

  • Monitor on the FOCUS platform (Focus is the group platform to report an incident) in order to coordinate and close the incidents.
  • Coordinate daily maintenance activities for retail stores in UAE.
  • Discuss and confirm the scope of work with the brand, and accordingly forward the client-approved scope to local contractors for tendering to receive a minimum of three proposals.
  • Oversee all hands-on maintenance jobs carried out by the internal team and ensure work is completed within desired service level and on time.
  • Mobilize the retail team as per the forecasted workload.
  • Communicate with the mall duty managers and retail tenant managers in case of mall operations assistance.
  • Conduct weekly site visits to ensure our stores are maintained to the highest possible standards.
  • Assist brand during store opening or closure in checking HVAC, fire fighting, and MEP systems.
  • Communicate and work in line with projects, design, group security, and administrative department for maintenance and documentation purposes.
  • Ensure all maintenance jobs are carried out in compliance with EHS health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure and keep track of planned preventive maintenance jobs in relation to HVAC, fire fighting/fire alarm, and roller shutter systems.
  • Prepare the monthly retail maintenance incident report to be shared with the client.
  • Update our records of operations manual for the stores.
  • Supervise retail maintenance team members' workload and allocate resources accordingly.
  • Allocate leave entitlements for retail onsite technicians and assist the maintenance supervisor in preparing the annual leave program for the retail team.
  • Ensure availability of retail maintenance team 24/7 in case of emergency assistance.
