Project Control Manager
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Control Manager to join our dynamic offshore oil & gas team in the UAE. In this role, you will lead project control activities ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of our key projects in a challenging offshore environment. Your expertise will drive effective planning, monitoring, and control to achieve operational excellence and business objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field; PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in project control within the offshore oil & gas industry.
- Strong expertise in project scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project) and project management software.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multidisciplinary teams in an offshore environment.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Demonstrated experience in cost control, forecasting, and risk management for large-scale projects.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and deliver results on time.
- Willingness to work in the UAE offshore environment with an understanding of local regulations and cultural diversity.
Responsibilities Duties:
- Lead the development and implementation of project control systems, guidelines, and procedures to ensure consistent project monitoring and reporting.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and forecasts, providing accurate and timely updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure integrated project controls covering cost, schedule, and risk management.
- Perform variance analysis and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks and control cost overruns.
- Prepare and present comprehensive project reports, including progress updates, financial performance, and risk assessments.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to align project objectives and control measures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE regulations, and offshore operational standards.
- Mentor and guide project control staff to build a high-performing team capable of supporting complex offshore projects.
