Job Description
The Senior Electrical Engineer / Journeyman Electrician is responsible for designing, evaluating, and physically integrating complex power distribution, electrical controls, and field wiring infrastructure. The role ensures the successful execution of hardware configurations, prototyping operations, and industrial equipment setups while maintaining full compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and industrial occupational safety benchmarks.
Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering coupled with an active Journeyman Electrician License (or equivalent verified industrial licensure).

5+ years of combined experience in industrial power design, electrical contracting, or equipment manufacturing environments.
Preferred Skills * Proficient with electrical CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical) and industrial PLC logic configurations.

Superb physical diagnostic talents, wiring craftsmanship, and structural schematics literacy.
Experience Required 5+ years of relevant experience executing physical electrical layouts, facility grid matching, or heavy electrical hardware deployment.
Responsibilities Duties:
Key Responsibilities * Coordinate and execute industrial electrical configurations, covering circuit designs, panel layouts, and safety wiring routing.

Prepare detailed electrical schematics, wire routing diagrams, load estimations, and bills of materials.

Perform direct physical installation, configuration adjustments, and hardware testing for heavy industrial machinery or defense fixtures.

Coordinate with fabrication departments, facilities maintenance teams, and external utilities inspectors.

Monitor electrical load dynamics and promptly address system failures, short circuits, or insulation issues during testing.

Maintain absolute compliance with local safety laws, OSHA procedures, and strict company lock-out/tag-out rules.
