CT Technologist
Job Description
The CT Technologist is responsible for operating advanced multi-slice Computed Tomography imaging systems to provide high-resolution cross-sectional diagnostic files. The role ensures the successful execution of contrast tracking protocols, cross-sectional imaging alignments, and patient positioning routines while preserving patient radiation dosing controls (ALARA) and clinical efficiency.
Required Qualifications * Valid professional credentialing in Radiography via the ARRT with advanced primary/post-primary CT certification.

Valid medical imaging practitioner license within the state of active practice.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Skills * Extensive command over cross-sectional human anatomy, multi-vendor scanning suites, and automated injector controls.

Calm demeanor under fast-paced trauma imaging environments.
Experience Required 2+ years of professional clinical experience operating multi-detector CT imaging systems within a tertiary trauma center or busy outpatient center.
Responsibilities Duties:
Key Responsibilities * Coordinate and execute specialized CT clinical scans, spanning trauma runs, neurological passes, and detailed vascular angiographies.

Prepare and safely deliver prescribed diagnostic radiopaque contrast compounds via automated intravenous injection channels.

Welcome incoming clinical patients, screen for contraindications, and detail processing flows clearly.

Coordinate with radiologists, emergency unit teams, and inpatient coordinators for prioritized diagnostic data handling.

Monitor patient physical stability during image acquisition, promptly addressing allergic reactions or contrast infiltrations.

Maintain pristine cleanliness, system calibrations, and quality control logging schedules across CT arrays.
