Job Description
The Urologist is responsible for diagnosing, managing, and treating medical and surgical disorders of the male and female urinary tract and the male reproductive system. The role ensures the successful execution of specialized outpatient clinics, endourological procedures, and complex urological surgeries while maintaining the highest standard of operative excellence, clinical safety, and patient satisfaction.
Required Qualifications * Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an approved medical school.

Completion of an accredited Urology Residency training program.

Board Certification or active Board Eligibility via the American Board of Urology (ABU).

Active, unrestricted license to practice medicine within the state of Alabama.
Preferred Skills * Advanced proficiency with robotic-assisted surgery platforms (e.g., da Vinci System) and endourological lasers.

Precise analytical deduction, technical hand-eye coordination, and a highly collaborative team mindset.
Experience Required Completion of an accredited residency track or active professional clinical practice experience within a busy urological surgical department.
Responsibilities Duties:
Key Responsibilities * Coordinate and execute comprehensive patient evaluations, cystoscopic examinations, and urodynamic diagnostic profiles.

Prepare individualized treatment blueprints for urological conditions, including urolithiasis, oncological malignancies, BPH, and incontinence.

Perform specialized surgical interventions, including minimally invasive, laparoscopic, robotic, or open urological operations.

Coordinate with oncologists, nephrologists, primary care physicians, and surgical nursing cohorts.

Monitor post-operative recovery timelines and promptly address complications such as urinary retention, hemorrhages, or surgical site infections.

Maintain absolute accuracy within operating room records, tracking material usage, timing parameters, and pathological dictations.
