Supply Chain Director
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Logistics Director to lead large-scale logistics and distribution operations while driving operational excellence across multiple business units.
This is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing end-to-end logistics, warehousing, transportation, inventory management, and distribution centre operations to ensure the efficient movement of goods while supporting business expansion and operational performance.
Qualifications
-Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
-Professional certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, CILT, or equivalent are an advantage.
-Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain and logistics operations.
-At least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing large-scale distribution operations.
-Proven experience supporting wholesale, retail, FMCG, or multi-business distribution environments.
-Strong expertise in warehousing, transportation, fleet management, inventory control, and distribution.
-Experience managing multi-site logistics operations is highly desirable.
-Strong knowledge of SAP ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
-Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
-Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills.
-Ability to lead large operational teams in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
Responsibilities Duties:
-Lead end-to-end supply chain, logistics, and distribution centre operations.
-Develop and implement logistics strategies that support business growth.
-Oversee warehouse operations, inventory management, and stock accuracy.
-Manage transportation, fleet operations, and delivery performance.
-Ensure effective use of ERP (SAP) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
-Drive operational excellence, process improvement, and cost optimisation.
-Lead and develop logistics, warehouse, and operations teams.
-Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support business objectives.
-Manage logistics budgets, KPIs, and operational performance.
-Ensure compliance with health, safety, regulatory, and operational standards.
