Finance Lawyer
Job Description
An Abu Dhabi-based organisation is seeking a Mid-Level Project Finance Lawyer to support its in-house legal team. Available on either a 3-month contract or permanent basis, this role will involve advising on project finance transactions, corporate matters, and commercial legal issues across the business.
Qualifications
• Qualified lawyer with 5–8+ years' post-qualification experience (PQE).
• Common law qualified.
• Strong experience in project finance and corporate law.
• Previous in-house legal experience is essential.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to provide pragmatic legal advice.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Must be based in the UAE or willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi.
Responsibilities Duties:
• Advise on project finance transactions and financing arrangements.
• Draft, review, and negotiate finance, commercial, and project-related agreements.
• Support project development, acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate transactions.
• Provide legal advice on corporate governance and general corporate matters.
• Identify and manage legal and commercial risks.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external legal counsel.
