Mechanical Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Material Engineer specializing in MEP to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will ensure the selection, inspection, and management of materials used in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing projects, supporting high-speed rail and construction initiatives with top-quality resources.
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in material engineering within MEP and construction sectors, preferably in high-speed rail projects.
- Strong knowledge of material specifications, testing methods, and quality standards.
- Familiarity with procurement processes and inventory management.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Willingness to relocate or work in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Responsibilities Duties:
- Develop and implement material specifications and standards for MEP projects.
- Evaluate and select appropriate materials based on project requirements and industry standards.
- Coordinate with procurement and construction teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Conduct inspections and quality control checks on incoming materials to ensure compliance.
- Maintain material documentation and reports for project audit and quality assurance purposes.
- Collaborate with designers, contractors, and suppliers to resolve material-related issues.
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize material usage to avoid delays and cost overruns.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in materials and industry best practices relevant to MEP and construction.
