Responsibilities Duties:
Patient care: Receive patients, help them prepare for consultation, and provide basic care.
Vital signs: Measure and record blood pressure, temperature, pulse, oxygen saturation, weight, etc.
Doctor assistance: Assist the doctor during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
Medical records: Update patient files, clinical notes, and other documentation accurately.
Specimen collection: Assist with collecting and preparing blood, urine, or other samples if permitted by your qualification and employer's scope of practice.
Medication support: Prepare or assist with medications only within your authorized scope and under appropriate supervision.
Wound care: Assist with dressing changes and basic wound care when trained and authorized.
Equipment: Prepare, clean, disinfect, and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment.
Appointments: Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and follow-ups.
Patient communication: Explain basic procedures and provide appropriate instructions to patients.
Infection control: Follow hand hygiene, PPE, sterilization, waste disposal, and infection-prevention procedures.
Emergency support: Recognize and report changes in a patient's condition and assist the clinical team during emergencies.
Teamwork: Coordinate with doctors, nurses, laboratories, pharmacies, and other healthcare staff.
Confidentiality: Protect patient information and follow healthcare privacy and professional standards.
