Site Engineer
Job Description
A Site Engineer is responsible for supervising construction work at the project site and ensuring that work is completed according to drawings, specifications, quality standards, and schedules.
- Supervise daily construction activities at the site.
- Read and interpret civil/structural drawings.
- Coordinate with contractors, workers, architects, and project managers.
- Check quality of materials and workmanship.
- Monitor project progress and maintain daily site reports.
- Take measurements and assist with quantity calculations and billing.
- Ensure safety rules and construction standards are followed.
- Identify site problems and coordinate solutions.
- Ensure work is completed within the planned time and budget.
Responsibilities Duties:
- Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and construction drawings.
- Knowledge of estimation, quantity surveying, and site supervision is useful.
- Freshers can apply for junior Site Engineer positions.
