Financial Analyst
Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support financial planning, analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business decision-making. The role involves analyzing financial data, identifying trends, preparing management reports, and providing actionable insights to improve financial performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or a related role, depending on seniority.
- Strong knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of financial KPIs and business performance.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work with large datasets and meet reporting deadlines.
Responsibilities Duties:
- Analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and business performance.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Develop financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
- Perform variance analysis between actual results and budgets/forecasts.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, profitability, cash flow, and key financial KPIs.
- Prepare management dashboards and financial presentations.
- Conduct profitability, cost, investment, and scenario analysis.
- Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
- Analyze business trends and provide recommendations to management.
- Assist with financial planning and decision-making.
- Maintain and improve financial models and reporting templates.
- Work with accounting, sales, operations, and management teams to collect and validate financial information.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data.
- Support month-end and year-end reporting activities.
- Identify cost-saving and revenue-improvement opportunities.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as required.
