Job Description

The Food and Beverage Specialist is responsible for overseeing food and beverage operations to ensure exceptional customer service, product quality, and operational efficiency. The role supports menu planning, inventory management, quality assurance, and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards while enhancing guest satisfaction and achieving business objectives.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Food Service Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in food and beverage operations, hospitality, restaurant management, or hotel services.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and hospitality standards.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Good communication and customer service skills in English and Arabic.

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Knowledge of menu development and cost control techniques.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospitality management software.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Experience Required

3–5 years of relevant experience in food and beverage operations, hotels, restaurants, catering services, or hospitality management.

Responsibilities Duties:

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise daily food and beverage operations.
  • Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate purchasing and stock control activities.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
  • Assist in menu planning, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
  • Analyze sales performance and identify opportunities to improve revenue and profitability.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service recovery initiatives.
  • Train and support staff on service standards, operational procedures, and food safety requirements.
  • Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate records of inventory and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with management to implement process improvements and enhance guest experiences.
