Job Description
An opportunity for an experienced Data Scientist with deep expertise in time series forecasting, predictive modelling, and quantitative analytics. The role sits within a growing data science function supporting investment teams across private markets.
Requirements
* Significant experience in Data Science, Quantitative Analytics, or a related field within financial services, asset management, or investment organisations.
* Strong expertise in time series analysis, forecasting models, predictive analytics, and statistical methodologies.
* Experience leading or mentoring data science teams and managing complex analytical projects.
* Proficiency with Python, R, SQL, and modern data science toolsets.Exposure to AI or Generative AI concepts is advantageous, but deep expertise in LLMs, vector databases, or agentic frameworks is not required.
Responsibilities Duties:
* Lead the design and deployment of advanced time series forecasting and predictive analytics models for investment applications.
* Partner closely with investment professionals to uncover insights from complex datasets and support investment decisions.
* Drive best practices across statistical modelling, machine learning algorithms, and quantitative research.
* Mentor and develop a team of data scientists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
* Evaluate and implement innovative analytical approaches that enhance forecasting accuracy and portfolio insights.
