Financial Controller
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to lead the financial operations of our hotels in the UAE. The ideal candidate will oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance, ensuring financial accuracy and operational efficiency within a dynamic hospitality environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in financial management within the hospitality industry, preferably in hotels.
- Strong knowledge of UAE financial regulations and hospitality accounting standards.
- Proficient in financial software and ERP systems.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing finance teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English is a must
Responsibilities Duties:
- Manage all financial aspects of the hotel operations including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Coordinate with auditors to ensure successful completion of financial audits.
- Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to senior management to drive profitability.
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and financial regulations.
- Collaborate with various departments to optimize cost control and revenue management.
- Lead and develop the finance team to achieve departmental objectives.
