MEP Inspector
Job Description
A company based in Dubai is looking for MEP Inspector to join their team.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience, including significant time as an MEP Inspector with a consulting engineering firm in the UAE
- Proven track record on large-scale projects (high-rise, mixed-use, villa communities, or commercial developments)
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with project management/documentation tools (e.g., Aconex)
Responsibilities Duties:
- Conduct daily onsite inspections of MEP installations to verify compliance with approved drawings and specifications
- Witness testing and commissioning of MEP systems (HVAC, fire fighting, plumbing, electrical)
- Ensure works meet Dubai Municipality, DEWA, Civil Defense, and other relevant authority standards
- Review and comment on contractor method statements, ITPs, and inspection requests
- Maintain detailed inspection records, snag lists, and non-conformance reports
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and design teams to resolve technical issues
- Support close-out documentation and handover processes
