Planning Control Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking for a Projects Control Officer to be based in Abu Dhabi to support in the digital transformation of our project reporting ecosystem. The successful candidate will work at the intersection of project controls, business administration, data analytics, and digital systems integration, ensuring our reporting processes are accurate, streamlined, timely, and contributes to our digital improvement vision
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 4+ years’ experience in data analytics, project reporting, or digital transformation.
• Advanced Power BI expertise, including DAX, Power Query, data modelling, and administration.
• Strong experience with Primavera P6 EPPM and Power BI integration, ideally within construction or real estate.
• At least 2 years of direct experience developing Power BI reports for the construction/real estate industry with experience in integrating Primavera P6 EPPM with Power BI.
Responsibilities Duties:
• Lead the integration of Primavera P6 EPPM with Power BI to deliver automated project dashboards, KPIs, and executive reporting.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes, data pipelines, and data models connecting P6, Power Apps, Dataverse, and other platforms.
• Build and maintain interactive dashboards covering project schedule, cost, progress, design, and performance metrics.
• Manage Power BI workspaces, datasets, access, RLS, governance, and performance optimization.
• Identify manual reporting processes and drive automation using Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
• Work closely with IT, EPMO, project controls, procurement, development, and management teams to gather requirements and deliver reporting solutions.
• Establish best practices for data architecture, visualization, security, and governance.
• Provide user training, documentation, and ongoing dashboard support
