Lifting Officer
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Lifting Officer / Supervisor to oversee and coordinate lifting and load handling operations at factory and project sites. The ideal candidate should have strong practical experience in lifting operations, load handling, and the ability to perform trigonometric calculations required for safe lifting activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering-related
discipline.
• Proven experience in factory/site operations and load handling.
• Strong practical knowledge of lifting operations and lifting equipment.
• Ability to perform trigonometric calculations for lifting operations.
• Valid Lifting Supervisor Certification is preferred.
• Candidates without certification may also be considered, as certification can be arranged for the
selected candidate.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to supervise lifting activities independently.
• Willingness to work 6 days per week.
Candidate Profile
• Hands-on and technically capable.
• Good understanding of lifting and load-handling procedures.
• Responsible, safety-focused, and able to work in a site/factory environment.
• Candidates currently outside the UAE are also welcome to apply, provided they have relevant
experience.
Responsibilities Duties:
• Supervise and coordinate lifting and load-handling operations at factory/site locations.
• Ensure lifting activities are carried out safely and in accordance with approved procedures.
• Perform trigonometric calculations required for lifting operations.
• Assess loads, lifting arrangements, and site conditions before lifting activities.
• Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, and site teams during lifting operations.
• Ensure proper use of lifting equipment and accessories.
• Identify potential lifting hazards and implement appropriate safety measures.
• Monitor compliance with site safety procedures and lifting requirements.
• Report any unsafe conditions or incidents to the relevant management team.
• Maintain appropriate records and documentation related to lifting operations.
