Housekeeping Assistant
Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join a hotel team in Kilkenny. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout guest rooms and assigned hotel areas.
Requirements:
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical stamina
- Good English communication skills
- Previous housekeeping experience is an advantage
- No university degree required
Responsibilities Duties:
- Clean and prepare guest bedrooms and bathrooms
- Change bed linen and towels
- Replenish toiletries and room supplies
- Vacuum, mop and dust assigned areas
- Report maintenance issues or damaged items
- Follow hotel hygiene and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping equipment
