Job Description
The Accounts Manager is responsible for leading the daily accounting unit, supervising ledger postings, and overseeing accounts payable and receivable operations. The role ensures precise ledger entries, quick billing turnarounds, and smooth audit cycles.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; ACCA/CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.

6+ years of general accounting experience, including 2+ years leading an accounting team.

Practical leadership, credit management expertise, and strong problem-solving skills.

Experience using enterprise-grade financial software.

6+ years of experience managing core accounting functions, credit control, and team output.
Responsibilities Duties:
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and execute day-to-day general accounting operations, vendor payments, and client collections.

Prepare monthly trial balances, schedules, and management accounting reports.

Review team entries, credit control policies, and vendor reconciliation files for compliance.

Coordinate with internal departmental units, sales teams, and external banking representatives.

Monitor credit control cycles to minimize overdue receivables and optimize operational cash flow.

Maintain complete compliance with financial policies, standard accounting metrics, and VAT laws.
