Senior Copywriter
Job Description
We are urgently seeking a bilingual English- and Arabic-speaking Senior Copywriter from a telecommunications background, and with immediately availability to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
PROFILE
• Degree qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Business, or similar relevant subject
• At least 7-10 years’ experience in Saudi Arabia writing for PR/executive comms, with a minimum of 3 years in the telecommunications/broadcast industry
• Strong understanding of Saudi corporate tone of voice and the nuances of Saudi written language for media materials
• Excellent ability to write and adapt content for telecom and ICT-related themes, including connectivity, digital services, enterprise technology, customer experience, innovation, and Vision 2030
• Experience producing press releases, statements, Q&As, speeches, CEO messages, reports, newsletters, website copy, and campaign materials
• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English and Arabic, with the ability to translate accurately between the two languages
• Immediately available and currently based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Responsibilities Duties:
• Developing Arabic and English press releases, media statements, Q&As, briefing notes, biographies, talking points, and spokesperson materials
• Preparing leadership content, including speeches, remarks, CEO messages, executive posts, opinion content, and interview responses
• Supporting the development of a message book, narrative themes, approved language, sensitive-topic guidance, and audience-specific messages
• Translating, adapting, and Arabising English content into clear, natural, and locally appropriate Arabic for Saudi media and public audiences
• Drafting campaign copy, launch messages, social copy, event content, internal notes, and public-facing institutional materials
• Supporting issue-response content, including holding statements, reactive lines, clarification messages, and approved Q&As
• Ensuring consistency of tone, terminology, message hierarchy, technical accuracy, and bilingual quality across all content outputs
