Draftsman
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and updating technical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings for building and infrastructure projects. The candidate should have good knowledge of construction drawings and coordination with site and engineering teams.
- Diploma/degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
- Experience as a Draftsman in building and/or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and related drafting software.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and construction drawings.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and standards.
- Experience in roads, utilities, drainage, and building projects.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- UAE experience is preferred.
Responsibilities Duties:
- Prepare and revise technical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with engineers for construction and submission purposes.
- Update drawings according to site changes and project requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation and drawing records.
- Ensure drawings comply with project standards and specifications.
- Assist in quantity take-offs and technical documentation when required.
- Coordinate with consultants and subcontractors regarding drawing revisions.
