Project Director
Job Description
The Project Director is responsible for leading and overseeing large-scale construction, infrastructure, engineering, or commercial projects from initiation through completion. The role provides strategic leadership, ensures projects are delivered on time and within budget, manages multidisciplinary teams, and maintains compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The Project Director works closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and executive leadership to achieve business objectives while ensuring operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or Business Administration (MBA) is preferred.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, contract administration, budgeting, risk management, and construction practices.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities Duties:
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of multiple large-scale projects.
- Develop project strategies, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation plans.
- Manage project managers, engineering teams, contractors, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
- Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, government authorities, consultants, and key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, company policies, health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
- Review contracts, negotiate project changes, and oversee procurement activities.
- Prepare executive reports, project forecasts, and performance presentations for senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and successful project delivery across all phases.
